A CHURCH OF OPEN DOORS?

Christian's claim to be open to everyone coming into a church. But how far are churches willing to take this idea? There's a great, productive discussion going on over at Dr. Witherington's blog HERE.

Dear Abby: I suffer from food sensitivities. Recently, suring an important service at a church my daughter and I have no attended for long, I had some extremely lound and emberrassing gastrointenstinal symptoms. This disrbance lasted more than 15 minutes, and everyone could hear it. I am embarrassed to return to church. Is there any way to save face? - It was the Soybeans!
Dear Soybeans:
When the flatulence started happening repeatedly, you should have stepped outside until it subsided. It would have spared you some embarressment and been less of a distraction.
However, because your concern is your dear of being remembered as the woman whose flatulance wrecked the service, you have no choice but to go back to the church and give them something positive to remember you by.

This was found in today's Dear Abby column. I thought it was the most funniest thing every because the only way to escape gastrointestinal problems is to either deal with it there, or go outside. Although one can invest in some gasex or beano and save themselves! The funny thing is that she (i say she because a guy wouldnt write this, nor would he care) never mention anything about a smell...that would have been the embarressment!!!! Sorry I couldnt stop laughing when I read this.
