We've had a busy past couple of days. Went to a Texas Rangers game last night. We had a blast - it was a church-wide thing with folks from all ages, so it was pretty neat. The Rangers played the San Diego Padres. They lost by a point (6-5), but oh well, we had a blast.
Today we began our summer service project with our youth group. After we finished that, we went to the theater to watch Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (not worthy enough to attach a link to). It was an experience. I actually loved the first Ice Age, it's one of my favorite animated movies, but this one, well, let's just say that I spent two hours of my life I will never get back. It's really made for children; while the first was appealing to people of all ages. But we did have fun at the theater! (You always do with youth groups)!
Please continue to pray for Western Heights Baptist Church, I think God is starting to work some great things, but this transition time will be tough. Pray that we allow God to do His will on His timetable.
Thanks for prayin'

P.S. the quote at the top is from a King of the Hill episode; I just couldn't get it out of my head.
